Cold showers, a rumbling tank, a pilot light that won't stay lit, or a tankless unit throwing an error code — a failing water heater rarely fixes itself, and most failures give warning signs first. Our Andes technicians diagnose both tank and tankless systems on the first visit.
Our Andes technicians are trained across both fuel types and both system designs, not specialized in just one.
Trucks stocked with common water heater parts are staged across Andes for same-day response.
You'll know the diagnostic and likely repair cost before we open the access panel.
We won't recommend a costly repair on a unit that's already past its expected service life — you'll get an honest comparison.
From a simple pilot light relight to a full heating element replacement, our technicians carry the parts most repairs need on the truck.
We service both gas and electric tank systems, replacing the specific failed component rather than the whole unit when possible.
Error codes, flow sensor issues, and scale buildup in tankless units get diagnosed with manufacturer-specific tools.
We test the thermocouple and gas valve together, since a weak pilot can point to either component.
A corroded anode rod left unreplaced accelerates tank failure — we check and replace it as part of a full service visit.
We isolate the source of a water heater leak first, since it's not always the tank itself failing.
A total loss of hot water gets same-day priority dispatch, especially in colder months.
Tell dispatch the brand, fuel type, and symptoms if you know them — it helps route a technician with the right parts.
Our technician arrives with common repair parts for both tank and tankless systems already on the truck.
The unit is diagnosed, and you'll get a clear repair price — or an honest replacement recommendation if the unit's beyond economical repair.
The repair is completed and tested for proper temperature and pressure, backed by a written parts-and-labor warranty.
"Tankless unit was throwing error codes and they diagnosed it as a scale issue, not a full replacement like I feared." — Homeowner, Andes
"Told me honestly the tank was past saving and walked me through replacement pricing instead of patching it." — Andes resident
"Explained the difference between the heating element and thermostat issue clearly before quoting the repair." — Andes customer
We serve Andes proper and nearby Andes, NY communities on both tank and tankless systems.
Age, extent of the failure, and repair cost relative to a new unit all factor in — we'll give you real numbers on both.
Yes, our Andes technicians are trained and equipped for both fuel types.
That's usually sediment buildup at the bottom of the tank being heated and disturbed — a flush often resolves it.
Most single-component repairs, like a thermocouple or heating element, are completed in under two hours.
Tankless systems need different maintenance than tank units, and our technicians are trained specifically for that.
We isolate the leak source first; a fitting repair is far cheaper than tank replacement if that's the actual cause.
